Monkey King Poster

Mine.

Momiji e-book available for Kindle

Amazon.com: Momiji eBook: George Herman, Kit Seaton: Kindle Store.

Momiji was one of the first books I illustrated in 2003 while collaborating with author George Herman after Nine Dragons: A Contemporary Fable. It is now available to buy for the Kindle on Amazon. It’s some of the work I was doing when I was just learning how to illustrate. It’s also some of the goriest work I’ve ever done. Have fun!

Hartford Illustration Project Process

Our assignment from the summer session at HAS is to do one illustration in the style of an illustrator covered in our history survey, 1960′s – contemporary, of a well known personality for a magazine cover of that era. I chose my subjects; Peter O’Toole and Katharine Hepburn from the 1968 film “The Lion in Winter” for the cover of Look Magazine after the style of Joe de Mers. The film and its stars have always been personal favorites.
